before, on the Aztec Shawnee Theater’s silver screen in downtown Shawnee! Sponsored by Shawnee Town 1929 Museum, we’re grabbing our tap shoes and heading to Broadway in 1929's THE BROADWAY MELODY! This is the first sound film and 2nd ever winner of the Best Picture Academy Award, and set the standard for every MGM musical to come.
